The New York City Commission on Human Rights has a lot of new information on its website on the use of credit for employment.  There is a page called you are more than your credit score, which has further links to Legal Enforcement Guidance on the Stop Credit Discrimination in Employment Act, N.Y.C. Admin. Code §§ 8-102(29), 8-107(9)(d), (24); Local Law No. 37 (2015); there are FAQs; a variety of statements from the commission and commissioners on the Act; a link to the Commission’s YouTube page where there are a number of videos on the use of credit for employment; and there is a big social media campaign (screen shot on the right) noting that people can “join the conversation on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

We do not recall seeing an administrative agency so deep in what seems to be a bigger public policy campaign.
