Jenniffer Scherhaufer joined the Consumer Data Industry Association’s (CDIA) full time in October 2016. In her role as Manager of Education Services she oversees the Department’s provision of high-quality customer service, spanning all registration and support activities for CDIA’s comprehensive regulatory compliance training programs and events. In addition, she manages the websites of the Association and its Education Services arm.

Prior to CDIA, Jenniffer was Creative Director for 11 years of a successful boutique event planning company she co-founded, based in Washington, DC. She also served as Assistant Director of Communications for the University of Maryland College of Education in College Park, MD, where she played a key role in developing the College’s advancement strategy and promoting its key priorities. Jenniffer started her career in Washington, DC, as a Research Assistant at the Association of American Universities.

Outside of CDIA, Jenniffer sits on the Montgomery Village Foundation Communications Committee. She is also a certified studio volunteer at Montgomery Community Media

Jenniffer holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications (Public Relations/Advertising) from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of the Virgin Islands.
