Overview
This interactive, self-paced, audio e-learning course is designed to help employees understand the federal fair lending laws which prohibit lenders from discriminating against borrowers in any aspect of a credit transaction based on race, gender, national origin, or other protected characteristics. The fair lending laws contain important substantive obligations with respect to information that may be requested and considered in making credit decisions, critical notifications to consumers, and information that must be furnished to a consumer reporting agency. And finally, we will discuss enforcement of the various consumer protection laws.
