Approved and authorized by Equifax, Experian, Innovis and TransUnion, attendees of this 2-day workshop receive a strong foundation on the Metro 2® Format and industry standard credit reporting guidelines. Participants can then use this foundation to continue building on their knowledge.

The pace of this workshop is designed to ensure attendees comprehend the information being covered.

DAY ONE: GENERAL SESSION
In-depth training on each of the Metro 2® fields using common reporting scenarios to reinforce your learning:

  • Review of Credit Reporting Resource Guide®
  • Current Account
  • Compliance Condition Codes
  • Delinquent Account
  • Paid Accounts
  • Date of First Delinquency
  • Charge off with Account Number Change

DAY TWO: GENERAL SESSION
Continued training on standard Metro 2® reporting:

  • ECOA Codes
  • Paid/settled Account
  • Accounts Included in Bankruptcy
  • Miscellaneous topics, including quick reference guides to industry standards, transferred or sold accounts, K2, K3, K4 and N1 segments, data conversion exhibits and validation/implementation checklist
  • Metro 2® review

Day 1 – Registration begins at 8:00 AM. Workshop begins at 8:30 AM and concludes no later than 4:00 PM.
Day 2 – General session begins at 8:00 AM and concludes at 4:15 PM.*

* A bonus session has been added for the data furnisher community from 3:15-4:15 PM; participation is optional.

Registration Package

Early-bird registration fee is $1,495 (available up to May. 21, 2021). Fee includes an enrollment for the Metro 2® e-Learning Course, one hard copy of the 2019 Credit Reporting Resource Guide®, all workshop materials, continental breakfast, AM/PM break refreshments and lunch.

Helpful Tips Before Registering

Please note: You must first log in to your CDIA Online Account to register for a workshop. If you have an account, but forgot your login credentials, you can reset your password. If you do not have an account, you will need to create a CDIA Online Account. This process is free and takes less than two minutes.

  • Attendees can register individually for a Workshop or use the option to register multiple individuals (NOTE: if an individual in your group does not have an existing CDIA Online Account, you will need to add them).
  • Attendees will be seated with industry peers. When registering, please indicate your specific industry category as this determines your seating placement and influences your overall workshop experience.
  • Payment by credit card is due at time of registration.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Registration cancellations received prior to the 30-day period leading up to a workshop will be refunded, less an administrative fee of $395. Registration cancellations received within the 30-day period prior to the workshop will not be eligible to receive a refund. If the conference is cancelled, CDIA will refund all money deposited, but is not responsible for additional expenses, such as travel/hotel costs.

Attendance Policy

Attendance to this program is limited to employees of (a) companies that furnish data to consumer reporting agencies in either the Metro™ or Metro 2® format, (b) data processors who furnish data to consumer reporting agencies in either the Metro™ or Metro 2® format, (c) software vendors who provide Metro™ or Metro 2® programming software, or (d) an entity sponsoring the program.

Due to space constraints at the workshops, walk ins and on-site registrations cannot be accepted.
