The NCLC published on its website, Enforcing the CARES Act Credit Reporting Protections, an article that “explains how consumers can protect their credit reports by enforcing the very modest protections offered by the CARES Act.” NCLC incorrectly notes that consumer protection for consumers are “limited” and the NCLC also suggests that a change in the law will have “problems”, when any change requires some adjustment by some lenders and creditors.
