Attendees of the 2020 CDIA Law and Industry Conference on Sept 22 – 24, 2020 will have the opportunity to hear from Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Deputy Director, Tom Pahl, who will be a keynote speaker. Mr. Pahl was recently named as the Deputy Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, after spending more than two years as its Policy Associate Director for the Division of Research, Markets and Regulation.
Mr. Pahl has many years of experience in consumer protection law. Immediately prior to coming to the Bureau, he was the Acting Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Federal Trade Commission. “We are honored to have Mr. Pahl join us at our Law and Industry Conference,” stated Francis Creighton, CDIA President & CEO. “We look forward to hearing from him on the CFPB’s current consumer reporting priorities.”
