On April 17, 2024, the U.S. House Energy & Commerce’s Innovation, Data, and Commerce Subcommittee held a hearing, Legislative Solutions to Protect Kids Online and Ensure Americans’ Data Privacy Rights. The hearing was announced by the committee chair, Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), and Ranking Member Frank Pallone (D-NJ).
