On May 17, 2024, the Civil Rights Council released a California Regulatory Notice Register noticing the proposed modifications to regulations implementing the employment provisions of the Fair Employment and Housing Act (Gov. Code § 12900 et seq.), California Code of Regulations, Title 2, Division 4.1, Chapter 5, Subchapter 2. The Council also released its Automated-Decision Regulations Notice, its Initial Statement or Reasons for the rulemaking, and a redline of the proposed text.
CDIA filed a comment in connection with this rulemaking.
The Council held a public hearing on July 18, 2024, at U.C. Berkeley.
