On September 15, President Obama nominated Charlotte A. Burrows to be a Member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2019. Burrows is Associate Deputy Attorney General at U.S. Department of Justice. Previously she was General Counsel for Civil and Constitutional Rights to Sen. Ted Kennedy; and before that, Deputy Chief U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Employment Litigation Section. The term will expire on July 1, 2019.
