The Uniform Law Commission’s Criminal Records Accuracy Drafting Committee, to which CDIA has been an official observer for a couple of years now, will meet again on March 18 and 19 in Chicago and CDIA will be there again. Recently, the drafting committee staff issued its latest draft of the proposed Criminal Records Accuracy Act. The latest draft model act on improving the accuracy of criminal records in the hands of the government is a noble goal which we support, but not in all specifics in the draft.
