On June 15, 2021, the Higher Education and Workforce Investment Subcommittee of the U.S. House Education and Labor Committee held a hearing, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Reauthorization: Examining Successful Models of Employment for Justice-Involved Individuals, also known as ex-offenders. The subcommittee is chaired by U.S. Rep. Frederica S. Wilson (D-FL).
There were four witnesses:
