In November 2021, CDIA wrote a letter to Sens. Jack Reed (D-RI) and James Inhofe (R-OK), the chair and ranking member, respectively, of the Senate Armed Services Committee.  The letter objects to two provisions in the FY 2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), H.R. 4350 found in Title LI of the bill.  CDIA objects to provisions in the bill that call for the suppression of credit reporting for servicemembers (Sec. 5108) and a prohibition on medical debt from appearing on credit reports (Sec. 5107).
