Following the passage of a 2022 state law in California permitting reusable tenant screening reports (Assembly Bill No. 2559 [Ch. 288, 2022]), several localities across the state passed local laws on the subject.
West Hollywood. In 2023, West Hollywood passed an ordinance creating a new section of law, 17.52.160 (Reusable Tenant Screening Reports). The law is ordinance No. 23-13.
