On July 5, 2023, the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) issued a final rule on Automated Employment Decision Tools (AEDT). The final rule amends Title 6 (DCWP) of the Rules of the City of New York, Chapter 5 (Unfair Trade Practices) to create a new subchapter (Subchapter T) on Automated Employment Decision Tools. The DCWP also issued FAQs.
