In July 2023, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) released Version 1.2 of the Draft Insurance Consumer Privacy Protection Model Law. The draft was produced by the NAIC’s Privacy Protections Working Group. The Working Group is a subset of the Innovation Cybersecurity and Technology (H) Committee. The Working Group last met in August 2023. In advance of that meeting, CDIA submitted a letter to the Working Group.
