On April 24, the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Institutions held a roundtable on enhancing financial resilience and addressing barriers to accessing capital in justice-involved communities.
“This event [was] a continuation of the dialogue initiated on January 12th, serving as Part 2 of [Treasury’s] ongoing efforts to address critical issues in access to credit for Justice Impacted Individuals, pursuant to the goals in Executive Order 14074, Advancing Effective, Accountable Policing and Criminal Justice Practices to Enhance Public Trust and Public Safety.
