In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, CDIA wrote to the FTC and the CFPB to support an emergency interim final rule for public records reinvestigations affected by court closures and delays, as proposed by the Professional Background Screening Association (“PBSA”) in its April 15, 2020 letter to the Commission and the Bureau.
