In March 2021, USPIRG issued a press release about the spike in the volume of consumer complaints reported to the CFPB in 2020, as well as complaints about other financial services products.  The release notes that “more than half of total complaints to the CFPB were grievances against the Big 3 credit reporting agencies,” the release said.  The release covers a USPIRG report, Consumers in Peril.
